The toolkit that respects your files
FileSeb is a free, browser-based file toolkit built by RBTech. Every conversion, compression, and merge happens locally on your device — your files are never uploaded to a server, and never will be.
Who we are
FileSeb is a product of RBTech, a small software studio that builds tools around one belief: software should do its job and get out of the way — no accounts, no waiting, no giving up your files just to convert them. The project is led by our founder and chief executive, Mofor Devalois Apongshine.
We make utility software for everyday tasks: turning a PDF into a Word document, shrinking a photo so it fits in an email, merging a stack of scanned pages, removing a background, reading text out of an image. These are boring jobs — and our goal is that you never think about us while they get done.
Why FileSeb is free
FileSeb costs nothing to use, with no hidden tiers, no watermarks, no daily limits, and nothing to upgrade to. To keep it that way, the site is supported in two honest ways: Google AdSense advertising, and voluntary donations through Ko-fi.
We want that financing to be transparent: ads never have access to your documents or photos. All file processing happens in your browser's memory before an ad is even rendered, and your files are discarded the moment you close the tab. The ads you see are governed by Google's privacy controls, which you can manage through the cookie banner on the homepage or directly in your browser.
What makes FileSeb different
Privacy first, as architecture, not marketing. The entire toolkit runs on client-side JavaScript using libraries that were chosen specifically because they can process PDFs, images, and documents without a server. There is no upload endpoint, so there is nothing to breach, audit, or sell.
Honest tooling. Every tool page on this site explains what the tool actually does — and what it doesn't do. Compress PDF tells you it optimizes structure rather than promising magic 90% reductions; Image Compressor tells you it's lossy below a certain quality. We think describing limits is part of doing the job well.
No friction. No sign-up, no account, no cookie walls, no "upgrade to export." You arrive with a file and you leave with a converted one.
How the site makes money
Three things keep FileSeb running, in order: Google AdSense ads, Ko-fi donations, and our own time. We don't sell data, we don't sell your files, and we don't have a paid tier. If you use FileSeb often and want to support it, a Ko-fi coffee is the single most useful thing you can do — and it keeps the tools free for everyone else.
