FileSeb converts files entirely inside your own browser. Your documents and images are never uploaded to a server, so we never see, store, or have access to their contents.
Every tool on FileSeb — merge, split, compress, convert — runs using JavaScript that executes on your device. When you drop a file into a tool, it is read directly by your browser into memory. It is not transmitted anywhere. When you close the tab or refresh the page, that file and its converted output are gone unless you've downloaded them.
To power certain conversions, FileSeb loads open-source JavaScript libraries (such as PDF, spreadsheet, and text-recognition engines) from a public content delivery network (CDN). Loading these scripts causes your browser to make a standard network request to the CDN provider, the same way loading any web font or script would. Your files are not sent as part of these requests — only the library code itself is downloaded, once per session.
This version of FileSeb does not include any analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies. If you add analytics when deploying your own copy of this site, update this policy to reflect what you've added.
If FileSeb adds a contact form, newsletter signup, or account system in the future, any information you submit through it would be covered by an updated version of this policy at that time.
FileSeb is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change accordingly.
